SELFIE

Selfie is one of the biggest time consumers of our day. We find selfies everywhere on social media ranging from Facebook to Snapchat. But do you know that the phenomena selfie is actually several hundred years old?

But wait, how is it possible that selfies has existed before cameras existed? The answer is glass. If we look back, people before the 1500th had never seen themselves clearly. Of course they could have seen a blurred reflection from the water but it was no near perfect. So when the mirror was invented it revolutionised the whole society. People could beginning to see themselves. So here comes the selfie part, mirrors became a part of the pilgrimage travel which meant that when pilgrims found a holy relics they took up the mirror and watched the reflection of them and the relic. When they came home they would show the mirror to their friends and their friends would look at it impressed. Now 600 hundred years later selfie is more common than ever and now it even exists a selfie stick that will help you to take better selfies.
